Flowers Flowers Everywhere
All these trucks of cut flowers are somewhere in the process of being loaded into the auction house, inspected, sold, and distrubted to buyers at the Aalsmeer Flower Auction. Some insanely high percentage of the world's cut flowers are sold through this auction. It was one of the wildest, coolest things I've ever seen! (Too bad all my pictures of it are out of focus.)

Ageratum houstonianum (flossflower, bluemink)
Ageratum houstonianum needs an average soil but should be placed in full sun. Low varieties make excellent borders and window boxes. Taller varieties can be used as background and cut flowers.
